Coming to NZ Cinemas on December 26, the new Disney Pixar creation Coco will be a visual feast and packed with top talent in the vocal performance and animation departments; I’m getting really excited to see it. Telling the story of Miguel, a guy who is driven to become a musician and while travelling along the path to his dreams, meets crazy characters and has wild experiences in the land of the dead where he finds out hidden secrets about his family’s past. Starring Gael Garcia Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Edward James Olmos, Cheech Marin and many more, priding itself on having a huge cast of characters from all generations, voiced by an entirely Latino vocal talent cast.
Movie Munchies: Your favourite NZ celebrity chefs will be at The Food Show Auckland this month!
Food is very important to my people. TV cooking shows, movies that focus on food – it’s all wrapped up in there together, as well of course as the treats you snack on while you watch. So with that in mind, I’m definitely hitting up The Food Show Auckland in July to get my snack on and also spot some of New Zealand’s best Celebrity Chefs in action, including; Annabel Langbein, Michael Van de Elzen, Annabelle White, Jonny Schwass, Ray McVinnie, Nicolas Bourgois, Nici Wickes, Simon Gault. Click each Chef’s name to find out there appearance times at the Cooking Theatre at The Food Show Auckland, 27-30 Jul, Thu–Sun 10am–5pm, ASB Showgrounds. For tickets, check it out here.
