Wooooo! Is it just me or does it feel like time is flying by? I’ve been hammering away at the beginning of the 100 Days Project I’ve assigned myself too; been getting along to a few cool movies, snuggling up and watching lots of great DVD and Netflix movies, docos and TV shows at home, plus getting out to some gigs too – but never the less, the goss goes on and you need to know about it, in case you missed it after all. So here we go…

I’m loving everything ALIEN ANTHOLOGY and at the moment it feels like I’m constantly running one of the films from the franchise in my head or rattling around some theory from the narratives and how they might fit together; so I loved this stunt that 20th Century Fox NZ created to celebrate release week of Alien:Covenant. Check it out here:

DUNKIRK is coming…
I’m a card carrying Christopher Nolan Fangirl so I’ve been very excited for any news or bits and pieces on Nolan’s newie, Dunkirk. So allow me to present you with the first trailer. What else do you need to know? It’s quality mate! We’re talking Tom Hardy (you know how I feel about him too!), Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Cillian Murphy, plus that appearance by Harry Styles that’s divided people by either exciting them or repulsing them…we’ll see how Harry does on the night (PS. I think he’ll nail it). Check out the debut trailer here:

Pssst…AQUAMAN production and principle filming is underwater…sorry, underway!
With one of my faves, James Wan (The Conjuring and Insidious franchises) in the director’s seat I’m really excited to check out this new stand-alone movie for Jason Momoa to show us, err…what he’s got. The Aquaman DC Comics character has been in existence for 75 years, but we’ve never seen him quite like this before; it’s going to be mainly shot in and around the Gold Coast and Queensland at Village Roadshow Studios in Stage 9, the newest and largest soundstage of it’s kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Also starring Amber Heard, Willem DafoeNicole Kidman, Temuera MorrisonDolph LundgrenYahya Abdul-Mateen II and my boo, Patrick Wilson – I reckon this is going to be killer!
