Happy Easter! Ahh, is there anything better than four blissful days of chill rolling out in front of you, as the weather has a slight nip in the air and gives you full license to sit on the couch in your active wear, stuffing your face with delicious, potentially unhealthy treats while you binge on whatever you wanna watch, read or listen to. Nope. Nope I don’t think there is. So with my love for this time of the year, I thought it was a good time to launch one of my new onetakekate.com sections – Movie Munchies. My Movie Munchies section is going to feature recipes I’ve made (Leon and I love to cook and bake!), restaurant and cafe reviews, food and beverage product reviews and recipe round-ups so you can find lots of delicious food inspo by the best foodies and bloggers from New Zealand and around the world.

This Easter I’m planning to devour heaps of my favourite things; be that yummy snacks or super rad TV and movies that I love. For example, Husbandito and I have been hoeing into The Lord of The Rings Trilogy so far on our Easter watching buzz and there’s something I’ve come to realize. I’m quite possibly a half-blooded Hobbit. I’m small in stature, I love my food and non-alcho drinks and I love a good party. I say half-blooded cause my feet aren’t hairy or large either for that matter.
Combining the kick off of OTK: Movie Munchies, Easter and my recent self identification as a Hobbit; I bring to you the epic list of deliciously decadent (plus some healthy ones for those that are keeping it real…) Easter Treats fit for everybunny and created by some of my favourite New Zealand foodies and food bloggers. Get your scroll on for all the goodness…
I don’t know about you but after all that deliciousness for the eyes, I’m going to need a nice big glass of water and a drool towel to clean up the mess at my desk. Do me a favour and if you see a foodie or blogger you like from this recipe round-up, go give their site a look and one of their socials a like, cause sharing is caring!
